So, Beethoven died and was buried in a churchyard. A passerby heard music coming from the grave and, alarmed, called the priest. Upon arriving, the priest put his ear to the grave and realized that he was hearing the nine symphonies backwards, from the end of the ninth to the beginning of the first. At the end, the priest stood, turned to the small crowd that had gathered, and said, “No worries! Beethoven’s just decomposing!”
